Avian Aqua MiserWant to make your own Avian Aqua Miser?  These kits can be used to make automatic chicken waterers exactly like the ready to go waterers we sell.  Or you can use your imagination and make a unique waterer out of milk jugs, honey bottles, or a 5 gallon bucket.

Learn from our mistakes and don't waste your money the way we did in our trial and error process (see below.) 

You'll need a drill or drill press (or pocket knife in a pinch), a tube of silicon, caulk gun, pliers, a plastic bottle of any size, and the contents of one of our kits.

Choose between six sizes:

1 pack DIY --- $15 (plus $1 to Canada or $3 elsewhere) --- waters up to 5 chickens

3 pack DIY ---  $30 (plus $1 to Canada or $4 elsewhere) --- waters up to 15 chickens

5 pack DIY --- $40 (plus $1 to Canada or $5 elsewhere) --- waters up to 25 chickens

10 pack DIY --- $65 (plus $3 to Canada or $8 elsewhere) --- waters up to 50 chickens.  Comes with a free drill bit!

20 pack DIY --- $110 (plus $3 to Canada or $10 elsewhere) --- waters up to 100 chickens.  Comes with a free drill bit!


*Use these sizes to make five gallon bucket waterers for coops or lots of smaller Avian Aqua Misers.

Broken avian aqua miser partsWe used to sell plain chicken nipples as well as these do it yourself kits, but have stopped selling plain nipples due to customer feedback.  It's not as easy as it looks to make a good automatic chicken waterer out of nipples.  We highly recommend that you try out our DIY kits rather than reinventing the wheel and wasting lots of materials, ruining your chicken nipples, or risking leaking waterers.
